My Role

I act as an Interaction/ Visual Designer in the OMEN team at HP, also the only VX designer of the team at the beginning, working closely with UX designers and our UX researcher. We launched the OMEN Refresh application which is changed the whole look & feel in mid-April 2020 and it's driven huge business success.

What I did

• Develop and create visual design framework: coherent design systems, user flows, wireframes, style guide, & tutorial animations for the OMEN Command Center – HP's flagship gaming software with a universal 4.9 Microsoft store rating

• Work closely with user experience designers to produce the look & feel for both OMEN hardware accessory software (System Vitals, Performance Control, Automatic Overclocking, & Lighting) and OMEN services (Rewards, Coaching, My Games, & Remote Play), and user experience researcher to continuously iterate, test, & improve software user experiences

• Work for not only Windows App but also for Android and iOS platforms

• Serve as the liaison between product management and development teams across the United States & Asia for UI & visual design changes and implementation
